Mason Will John Greenwood (born 1 October 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

Mason Will John Greenwood was born on the 1st day of October 2001 at the small village of Wibsey near Bradford, England. He was born to his mother, Melanie, and to his father, Andrew.

Mason Greenwood's father was an amateur footballer in his youth but had to change his career because of financial problems. That, of course did not stop him from following his passion as he used to take his son to the stadiums and together they witnessed some of the most historic games of English football history.

Mason Greenwood took his first steps as a footballer at Bradford's Idle Juniors academy at the age of six. He impressed his coaches' right from the start. According to his coaches at the time, He was so good that they had no choice but to play him with boys much older than himself.

His most successful season collectively was the 2019-20 season in which he reached the semi-final of the Europe League and ended the season at the fourth place with Manchester United. He was also voted the Premier League 2 Player of the Month in April, 2019.
